A new season, a new photo technique.
This photograph is an example of something called "IR Channel Shift". The technique was taught to me by fdpiech and for that I am extremely grateful. You're the man, Frank!
I usually shy away from digital manipulations as extreme as this, but in an effort to grow my understanding of infrared photography, I'm making an exception. If you'd like to learn more about this technique, feel free to visit my website for more info...
Also note that my membership here at Deviant Art has recently expired, so I'm trying to promote my prints to raise the money to renew. Any help that you can provide would be most appreciated.
